MATRIX MX51302-121

In 1980, a very rich man from Saudi Arabia wanted to make Mercedes-Benz 600 limousine in the neoclassical style of the thirties. A contractor was Frankfurt tuning house B+B Auto Exclusiv, founded by Rainer and Dieter Buhmann. The project was implemented in four months despite the fact that the car had to replace several body panels, move the front axle by 70 cm and increase track. Among the mandatory requirements was the presence of steps width of 30 cm, so that the bodyguards could ride standing up holding onto a handrail on the roof. Flush with these steps had to be done and the wings, so the limousine turned a width of the truck. The factory interior remains virtually untouched, but the package includes premium audio, refrigerator and mini-bar. From the idea to paint the car in Porsche Signal Red color with white speckles Rainer Buhmann customer dissuaded, but otherwise fulfilled all his wishes, requesting the sum of 350,000 German marks.
